NbSI at Resilience Evidence Forum
Monday 24 Jul 2023

NbSI’s Beth Turner and Stephen Woroniecki presented two of the team’s papers during the Resilience Evidence Forum on June 20, 2023:
- The Role of Nature-Based Solutions in Supporting Social-Ecological Resilience for Climate Change Adaptation
- Contributions of nature-based solutions to reducing people’s vulnerabilities to climate change across the rural Global South
Presentations (organized by NbSI’s Tasfia Tasmin) were part of a track exploring the contribution of taking a social-ecological systems approach to resilience and sustainability thinking.
Through their work, Beth and Stephen aimed to unpack how NbS specifically need to be considered as social-ecological systems for reducing vulnerability and building resilience.
