Interests and Expertise

I work with the Agile Initiative on the Forest & Food Nexus, examining deforestation control pathways in producer countries, with a focus on Brazil and Ghana, and their implications for agricultural outputs, trade flows, livelihoods, and UK food system resilience. More broadly, I research how trade in forest-risk commodities drives cascading risks through global supply chains. I am interested in interdisciplinary work at the intersection of socio-economic and ecological systems and have a growing interest in quantitative methods for evaluating environmental and climate policy as they relate to ecosystem degradation and food system security.

Background

My background spans environmental research, international development, and capacity building, with experience across UN agencies, research institutes, and think tanks in multiple regional contexts. I hold an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Seoul National University.”
