 Description coming soon
The evidence from the National Emergency Briefing is now being shared and discussed by communities, together with MPs and local decision-makers.

In November of 2025, Prof Nathalie Seddon joined a panel of experts to deliver a briefing on the evidence behind the growing climate and nature emergencies to 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media in Westminster.

The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy. Nathalie’s message was clear:

“Nature is not a ‘nice to have’; it is critical national infrastructure.”

She broke down the evidence on the state of UK nature, why it is a security issue and, crucially, how we can respond and move towards a nature-secure UK.
