Oxford Net Zero have launched an online library allowing you to search and filter hundreds of free tools designed to help businesses, policy makers and organisations to achieve net zero emissions. Tools range from those for measuring greenhouse gas emissions and developing net zero strategies, to identifying quality offset projects and reporting progress. Explore the library here.

Soil health is critical for the success of nature-based solutions (NbS), underpinning ecosystem multifunctionality and resilience by supporting biodiversity, improving carbon sequestration and storage, regulating water flow, and enhancing plant productivity. New research by NbSI and the University of Aberdeen proposes an integrated approach for monitoring soil heath in NbS, introducing a tool for selecting suitable biodiversity and soil metrics based on context and scale.

Interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners from across the globe recently convened in Oaxaca, Mexico, to explore pathways to sustainable and just land systems at the 2024 Global Land Programme Open Science Meeting.
