NbSI talk: role of local people and communities in fostering successful NbS
COP26 will take place in November in the UK

Alexandre Chausson spoke at the Fringe Climate Action Space on the role of local people and communities in fostering successful NbS. The Climate Fringe is providing a diversity of events in the run-up to and during COP26, as well as connecting people and projects to enhance collaboration around COP26. In his talk, Alexandre emphasised the need for shifting behaviour and governance to harmonise the needs of people and nature, the need for NbS to be locally-led, and transdisciplinary – the collaboration of researchers, community members and policymakers using scientific, experiential and contextual knowledge to address shared problems.
