IUCN launches Nature-based Solutions professional certificate

The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is launching its first professional certificate in Nature-based Solutions. This programme will provide individuals with IUCN-certified credentials, covering the necessary skills and knowledge to assess and start designing Nature-based Solutions.

As knowledge and adoption of NbS  continues to gain momentum around the world, efforts are needed to strengthen the concept’s foundation as a practice based, implementable approach. As part of this effort IUCN is inviting IUCN members and individuals from the business sector to training for capacity building in NbS.

Candidates who will have successfully completed the programme will be awarded an IUCN Professional Certificate on the IUCN Global Standard on Nature-based Solutions.
