The International Centre for Climate Change and Development hosted a session at the Gobeshona Global Conference 2021 on building capacity for nature-based solutions (NbS). The session focused on how to enhance understanding of how to successfully implement NbS, and how to increase their implementation, especially with respect to climate change adaptation, mitigation, and sustainable development.
Join the discussion on nature-based solutions at the Gobeshona conference on Tuesday 19th Jan, 12:00-13:30 GMT. We will hear from experts on NbS research, policy and practice from Bangladesh, Peru and the UK; members of the core NbSI team as well as NbS Peru and NbS Bangladesh will be speaking.
This session was held as part of the COP26 Coalition gathering (12-16 Nov, 2020), and aimed to foster dialogue among coalition members and come to broad agreement on the role of nature in addressing the climate crisis at COP26.
